Depending on how much you use, one jar should last you well over a month. A little goes a long way!

STELLARJAY's hold should last you up to 48 hours. After that we reccommend you wash your hair before reapplying.

STELLARJAY rinses out fairly easily with shampoo. Depending on your build-up you may want to double wash your hair. However, some people like to have a little build-up post-shower. STELLARJAY is an oil-based pomade and does not rinse out with just water. That said, this is a plus if you get rained on or jump in the lake- you will still be able to keep your hair styled.

We recommend you start with a small amount on your finger and emulsify in the plam of your hand. Rub your hands together and apply into your hair until worked through. Do not apply to your hair straight out of the jar as this will cause the pomade to clump in your hair.

This really depends on the final style you are looking for. For a laid down textured look, you could apply STELLARJAY to damp hair. For a pompador or a taller look, we recommend blow-drying first then applying to your hair dry. If you have a slick back look, you may want to apply to your hair semi-dry and work it with your comb. Experiment and let us know what works best for you!
